Abstract: An adaptable ingredients management device for food preparation comprises of an elongated bar 101 developed to be positioned in proximity to edges of a storage container, an imaging unit 102 to determine dimensions of the edges, a pair of motorized clamps 103 installed on the bar 101 via an extendable rod 104 for positioning the clamps 103 onto the edges, in view of enabling the clamps 103 to grab the edges for securing the body 105, a microphone 107 for user input of collection of amount of ingredients from the container, a hemispherical body 105 installed on the bar 101 via an extendable L-shaped link 106 for positioning the body 105, a weight sensor for continuously monitoring weight of the collected ingredients, a lid 109 installed over the body 105 via a motorized hinge 110 for covering the body 105 to prevent spillage of the collected ingredients.
