Abstract: An adaptable gait stability insole, comprises of a low-profile multi-layer body 101 positioned within footwear comprises an anti-slip base layer comprising thermoplastic polyurethane providing stability and preventing slipping during use, a multi-modal gait analysis module including a force-sensitive resistor grid, an inertial measurement unit comprising an accelerometer and gyroscope, and one or more flex sensors measuring plantar pressure, motion and foot bending, a control unit utilizing recurrent neural network and long short-term memory models generating a comprehensive gait profile, a dynamic weight redistribution means to redistribute the centre of gravity of the user to improve stability without restricting natural foot movement, a microfluidic cushioning arrangement to enhance comfort and stability by adjusting cushioning in response to pressure variations, an arch support module with linear actuators 105 for stabilizing mid-foot posture, a sensory feedback module providing vibration cues.
