Abstract: An adaptable carpet-cleaning assistive device comprising, a hollow cuboidal body 101 developed to be positioned on a fixed surface, multiple motorized wheels 102 are arranged underneath the body 101 for moving the body 101 over the surface, a flap 103 by means of a motorized hinge joint enables a user to accommodate a carpet to be cleaned, in a slot 104 carved in the body 101’s base portion, a touch interactive display panel 105 is accessed by the user to provide input specifications for cleaning the carpet, an imaging unit 106 integrated in the body 101 and paired with a processor to determine dimensions of the carpet, wherein plurality of motorized clippers 107 arranged on inner-peripheral sides of the slot 104, each by means of a telescopically operated rod 108 to extend/retract for positioning the clipper in proximity to edges of the carpet.
