MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511023215 A) filed by Sanskriti University on March 15, 2025, for Adaptable Bread Slices Storage And Toasting Assistive Device.

Inventors include Yashvendra Pratap Singh; and Dr. Durgesh Wadhwa.

The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.

Abstract: An adaptable bread slices storage and toasting assistive device comprises of a hollow cuboidal body 101 stored with multiple bread slices each stacked one over another to be positioned on a fixed surface of an enclosure, suction cups 102 installed on back portion of body 101 for affixing frame with surface, a pair of motorized pivot joints 104 assembled in between plate 103 and body 101 providing angular movement to plate 103, a microphone 105 embedded on body 101 for receiving voice commands, a pair of telescopic grippers 106 mounted on plate 103 for gripping bread slices, heating unit 107 embedded over plate 103 to impart heat over bread, a robotic link 108 integrated with a silicone brush 109 to dip brush 109 inside a container 110 stored with butter, a L-shaped telescopic link 111 attached with a flap 112 for positioning flap 112 over bread slice.
