MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202511012767 A) filed by Sanskriti University on February 14, 2025, for Adaptable Bathing Device For Especially Abled Individuals.

Inventors include Dr. Subrahmanya Bhat S; and Peeyush Kumar Sharma.

Abstract: An adaptable bathing device for especially abled individuals, comprises of hollow body 101 developed to be positioned on a ground surface, utilized by specially abled individuals for a bath, an imaging unit 103 installed over the body 101 to detect presence of individual in proximity to the body 101, a telescopic rod 104 configured with the body 101 to extend and deploy a curved-shaped seat 105 arranged with the rod 104 in proximity to the individual, a motorized hinge 106 configured on one side of the seat 105, and configured with a curved-shaped plate to tilt the plate towards other side of the seat 105 for enclosing the individual between the seat 105 and plate, and secure the individual over the seat 105, and an electronic nozzle 109 attached with a chamber 110 for dispensing the shower gel over the individual.
