MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202647111631 A) filed by Nippon Steel Texeng. Co. , Ltd. on September 17, 2026, for Actuation System.
Inventors include Fujii Shigeto; Kanbe Nobuhisa; and Ishimoto Takeru.
The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.
Abstract: Provided is an actuation system for appropriately controlling the motion of an actuated body even if there is a possibility that the actuated body follows an unintended path due to a certain operation performed by a user. In order to simulate the motion of an actuated body that performs a prescribed motion in accordance with an input operation from an operation device operated by a user, this actuation system comprises: a simulation unit that simulates, in a virtual space, the positional relationship between a virtual actuated body corresponding to the actuated body and a virtual restriction unit that is virtually provided for restricting movement of the virtual actuated body; and a motion control unit that controls the motion of the actuated body in accordance with the simulated positional relationship. The simulation unit is configured to correct the direction of movement of the virtual actuated body corresponding to the input operation on the basis of the shape of the virtual restriction unit, when it is determined that the distance between the virtual actuated body and the virtual restriction unit is within a prescribed range.
