MUMBAI, India, Oct. 5 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611102506 A) filed by Dr. Brajesh; Mr. Arvind Raja; and Dr. Kirti Pal on August 25, 2026, for Acdb-Based Smart Protection And Intelligent Load Management System.

Inventors include Dr. Brajesh; Mr. Arvind Raja; Dr. Kirti Pal; Dr. Rupika Gandotra; and Mr. Ramakant Sharma.

The application for the patent was published on October 02, 2026, under issue no. 40/2026.

Abstract: A protection system is disclosed for an alternating-current distribution box (ACDB) in a solar power installation. The system integrates sensing, control, and protective modules within the ACDB. Voltage and current sensors monitor the AC supply; a microcontroller analyzes the data and detects fault conditions (over/under-voltage, short circuits, surges, etc.). Upon detecting a fault, the controller actuates a switch (circuit breaker or contactor) to isolate the load. Built-in surge protection devices clamp transients on the AC lines. The system includes communication and user-interface modules for remote monitoring and local alerts. In this way, the ACDB provides multi-layer protection: real-time fault detection, automatic disconnection, and surge suppression. This design overcomes limitations of conventional ACDBs by offering comprehensive, intelligent protection and self-healing capabilities in photovoltaic power systems.
