Abstract: ABSTRACT The present invention relates to an accident detection and alert system (100) for a vehicle. The system (100) comprises a microcontroller (101), a crash detection sensor (102), a GPS module (103), a GSM communication module (104), a power supply module (105), a buzzer (106), a push button (107), and a display unit (108). The crash detection sensor (102) detects vehicle acceleration exceeding a predetermined threshold and generates a crash-indicative signal. In response, the microcontroller (101) activates the buzzer (106), displays status information on the display unit (108), and initiates a verification period to receive a manual cancellation input through the push button (107). If no cancellation input is received, the GPS module (103) determines the vehicle location, and the GSM communication module (104) automatically transmits an emergency alert message containing the location to a remote emergency contact terminal (109), thereby enabling timely emergency assistance while minimizing false alerts.
