Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure relate to access network registration via different radio access technologies. An apparatus (e.g., user equipment (UE)) transmits, to a first network entity of a first access network associated with a first radio access technology, an identifier and a cause for a registration procedure with a second network entity of a second access network associated with a second radio access technology. The UE receives an indication of acceptance of registration with the second access network based at least in part on the registration procedure. The UE transmits, based at least in part on the acceptance of registration with the second access network, data to the first network entity of the first access network for routing to the second network entity of the second access network.
