Inventors include Vladimirtsev, Arkady Vladimirovich; Snezhin, Anatoly Nikholaevich; Esipovich, Vyacheslav Olegovich; Vaskan, Igor Yaroslavovich; Terentiev, Andrey Yevgenyevich; and Shekhovcov, Fedor Aleksandrovich.
The application for the patent was published on September 11, 2026, under issue no. 37/2026.
Abstract: The invention relates to an access control and management system (ACMS) for control and management of the enterprise personnel access to the works related to the operation and repair of machines and mechanisms driven with an electric, pneumatic, steam and another drive, as well as for remote monitoring and controlling the procedure for starting/shutting down machine tools or mechanisms, and is directed at providing labor safety organization at industrial enterprises and at facilities in various sectors of the economy where driven mechanisms are used. The LoRa access control and management system (LoRa-ACMS) for controlling and managing the personnel access to driven mechanisms at an industrial enterprise, provided by means of electronic smart cards, comprises readers (7) for reading the tag identifier (ID) of said smart cards and transmitting it to access controllers (1), access controllers (1) connected to said readers (7) and configured to verify the access rights of the personnel to said mechanisms and to control the drive of said mechanisms depending on the result of said verification, a network server (3) and a wireless base station (2) configured to receive access data from the access controllers (1) and to transmit them to the network server (3), as well as transmit access data from the network server (3) to the access controllers (1), wherein the access controllers (1) are wirelessly connected to the base station (2), while the wireless connection of the access controllers (1) with the base station (2) is implemented in accordance with the star topology based on the LoRa technology and the LoRaWAN link layer protocol. Thanks to the use of LoRa-ACMS, an increase in the reliability of the ACMS, a significant increase in the reliable coverage area when transmitting wireless signals between the base station and the access controllers, that control access to the drive mechanisms, over the entire area of a workshop or industrial enterprise, a reduction in energy consumption when transmitting signals between the base station and the access controllers, an increase in the self-contained operational lifetime of the access controllers, a significant increase in the level of monitoring and effectiveness of personnel protection when using production mechanisms equipped with a drive, as well as a reduction of labor and material costs when implementing and operating the ACMS, including those at large industrial enterprises, are achieved.
