Abstract: . Abstract of the invention: The invention provides the cooking device which is energy as well as time efficient and it saves the fuel of up to 70-80% as compared to open pot cooking system. The cooking device is capable for carrying out the cooking inside its compact volume and the heat transfer process is completely controlled through the convective mechanism only. The cooking device (Cooker) operates at elevated pressure and elevated temperature and it comprises of the steaming chamber (consisting of the basal receptacle and the double walled hollow air jacket) and the inside vertical series of the vessel stacks. These parts are elaborated as follows: 1) Basal receptacle 2) The double walled hollow air jacket which provides the insulation to the upper portion of the cooker 3) The inner vessel stacks. The vessels are placed inside the square pitched vessel stacks and these stacks are placed one upon another by maintaining the vertical clearance between each other to circulate the steam through an angle of 360°. 4) Vessel stack stand is used to hold the vessel stacks which are placed one upon another 5) Fuel supplying stand is used to supply fuel to the cooker and it also provides an insulation to the lower portion (basal receptacle) of the cooker to maintain the temperature inside of the cooker even after terminating the fuel supply
