Abstract: ABSTRACT Academic Anxiety and Scholastic Performance in Adolescence: Dimensional Profile, Gender Pattern and Unique Contribution to Academic Achievement The present disclosure is directed to a system and method for measuring an academic-context physiological response and controlling a physical study environment. During an academic interval and a physically matched reference interval, the system gathers physiological signals as well as synchronised motion, ambient-light and sensor-coupling reference signals. A processor cancels reference coherent artefacts, generates a context differential feature vector and determines a confidence value based on signal quality, timing, contact and cross-sensor agreement. Environmental actuation is disabled if the confidence value does not satisfy a validity condition. If the validity condition is fulfilled a bounded control unit changes a physical parameter. An output sensor measures the achieved actuator output and a verification estimator introduces a bounded perturbation, re-acquires the signals, determines a response coefficient and post-change uncertainty, and keeps, attenuates, or rolls back the change. The local processing and selective transmission of records reduce the artifact-driven control, communication load, energy consumption, and exposure of physiological data, while enhancing context specificity and closed-loop stability during operation.
