Abstract: An absorbent article for a pet according to one embodiment of the present invention has a laterally-elongated shape having a longitudinal direction and a traverse direction, and comprises: a body part which includes a front surface sheet, a back surface sheet, and an absorbent disposed between the front surface sheet and the back surface sheet, and which has a first portion disposed on one side in the longitudinal direction with respect to the center line of the body part in the longitudinal direction and a second portion disposed on the other side in the longitudinal direction with respect to the center line; a joining part which is provided to the first portion of the body part and joins the first portion and the second portion; a pair of leakage prevention sheets which are capable of being erected with respect to the front surface sheet along a pair of erection lines extending in the longitudinal direction at mutually separated positions in the traverse direction; and a pair of outer elastic members which are provided to the outer sides of the pair of erection lines in the traverse direction and are stretchable in the longitudinal direction. The body part further includes one or more inner elastic members which are provided to the inner side of the pair of erection lines in the traverse direction and imparts a stretchability to the body part.
