Abstract: An ABS device for a hydraulic braking system of a cycle or motorcycle, particularly for bicycles, includes an electrically actuated valve unit (13) that is switchable between a first operating condition in which a master cylinder (2) associated with a brake lever is placed in communication with an actuator cylinder (3) of a brake device, and a second operating condition, in which the aforementioned communication is interrupted and the actuator cylinder (3) of the brake device is placed in communication with a fluid accumulator (9). The switching of the valve unit (13) between the first operating condition and the second operating condition is controlled by a solenoid (15) which is operatively associated with the movable member (11) of the fluid accumulator (9) and which is configured and arranged so that when the solenoid (15) is energized it causes both the switching of the valve unit (13) from the first operating condition to the second operating condition, and also the application of a force (F) on the movable member (11 ) of the fluid accumulator (9) tending to push the movable member (11) to a starting position corresponding to a minimum volume of the accumulation chamber (10) of the fluid accumulator (9).
