Abstract: The present invention provides a hardware-secured, volatile-only tactical transceiver system and method for ad-hoc mesh networking. The system comprises a dual-core microcontroller equipped with hardware vector instructions, a sub-gigahertz spread spectrum radio transceiver, a digital optical sensor, an I2S digital audio interface, and a physical tamper-detecting circuit. The core of the network routing is governed by an Energy-Aware Ant Colony Optimization (ACO) protocol. The processor continuously evaluates the local hardware battery voltage via an internal Analog-to-Digital Converter (ADC). If the voltage drops below a critical operational threshold, the processor appends an active "Obstacle Bit" to its outbound packet headers. Receiving nodes detect this bit and apply an immediate, severe mathematical penalty (e.g.,90%o reduction) to the transmitting node's routing pheromone score, effectively isolating the power-compromised node from heavy data paths before a power failure occurs. To ensure data privacy and route authenticity, the system utilizes hardware-accelerated Advanced Encryption Standard in Galois/Counter Mode (AES- GCM-128) to encrypt and authenticate payloads, alongside sequential SHA-256 one-way hash chains to mathematically secure routing hop-counts against spoofing. Jamming attacks are mitigated via a cryptographically seeded Frequency Hopping Spread Spectrum (FHSS) engine synchronized via microsecond timing beacons. The invention further includes an anti-forensic edge-vision pipeline wherein raw grayscale optical data is streamed directly into volatile SRAM. The processor applies a spatial Sobel gradient filter to identity structural object edges, extracts mathematical coordinate boundary vectors, and transmits these coordinates to be rendered as real- time wireframes on a receiving display. Additionally, a tactical voice mode utilizes Adaptive Differential Pulse Code Modulation (ADPCM) compression to fit digital audio over the narrow-band mesh, prioritized by a manual Push-To-Talk (PTT) hardware interrupt.
