Abstract: The invention relates to yoga practice equipment, and more particularly to a layered yoga mat system and method of manufacture using a woven jute-cotton upper practice layer and a backing or support layer of natural rubber, eco resin, or thermoplastic elastomer. The interwoven jute fibers and cotton fibers form a durable, textured, breathable, and porous surface with inter-fiber voids, improving grip, comfort, and eco-friendly performance over conventional single-material synthetic mats. The mat may carry printed yoga pose graphics and decorative motifs using natural dyes or non-toxic coloring techniques. One or more sensors operatively associated with the layered body capture user interaction, including pose execution, weight distribution, posture, and session progress, and AI integration processes sensor-derived data to provide tracking, posture tracking, progress tracking, and personalized feedback through a companion app. The system is principally useful for guided yoga practice, alignment assistance, and performance review.
