MUMBAI, India, Aug. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202621085419 A) filed by Soni, Sharad Suresh Chandra on July 13, 2026, for A Wireless Multi-Modal Emergency Stethoscope With Synchronized Vital-Sign Sensing.

Inventor includes Soni, Sharad Suresh Chandra.

The application for the patent was published on August 28, 2026, under issue no. 35/2026.

Abstract: The present invention discloses a wireless multi-modal emergency stethoscope system (100) for synchronized auscultation, vital-sign monitoring and emergency response. The system (100) comprises a transmitting chestpiece (110) having an acoustic diaphragm (111), microphone (112), ECG electrodes (113), and optical photoplethysmography sensor (114) for capturing body sounds, cardiac bio- potential signals, pulse waveform and oxygenation-related data. A microcontroller (117) time-stamps and transmits synchronized acoustic, ECG and photoplethysmography data streams through a wireless transceiver (119) to a terminal device (140), while a listening unit (130) reproduces body sounds in real time. The terminal device (140) stores patient-wise recordings, displays waveforms, provides guidance, generates personalized baselines, historical reports, chronic-care trends and AI-assisted triage outputs. Upon detecting a critical condition, a location module (146) obtains GPS/network location, and an emergency alert module (145) transmits an emergency health-data packet through a notification gateway (155) to caregivers, clinicians, hospitals, ambulance services or remote specialist servers.
