Abstract: ABSTRACT SUSPENSION FRAME MODULE FOR AN ELECTRIC VEHICLE Examples of a suspension frame module (200) for an electric vehicle (100) are described. In an example, the suspension frame module (200) includes a plurality of tubular members (202) welded together to form an integrated 5 structure (204) configured to be positioned above an axle (102). The integrated structure (204) is further configured to receive a suspension unit (302) mountable to the structure. The suspension frame module (200) includes a first battery compartment (206) and a second battery compartment (208) defined within the integrated structure (204) and 10 positioned on laterally opposite ends of a longitudinal centerline (210) of the suspension frame module (200). In an assembled state, the first battery compartment (206) and the second battery compartment (208) house respective battery assemblies (304), such that the integrated structure (204) defines a load path (306) from the suspension unit (302) through the 15 respective battery assemblies (304) comprised within the battery compartments.
