MUMBAI, India, Sept. 28 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641110876 A) filed by New Horizon College Of Engineering on September 15, 2026, for A Wind And Temperature-Responsive Predictive Safety Control System For Windows And Glass Panes.
Inventors include M T Vasumathi; and V Asha.
The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.
Abstract: The invention provides an intelligent predictive window safety system that integrates wind monitoring, temperature monitoring, mechanical stress analysis, thermal stress analysis, and predictive risk assessment within a unified safety framework. The system continuously monitors environmental conditions affecting a window assembly or glass pane and determines wind-induced mechanical loading and temperature-induced thermal stress. These conditions are jointly evaluated to generate a dynamic assessment of potential window or glass failure. Based on the predicted risk, the system automatically initiates appropriate preventive safety actions, including restricting window movement, securing or locking the window, adjusting its position, and generating alerts. The invention further incorporates continuous sensor feedback and dynamic risk-criterion adaptation, enabling the system to update its risk assessment as wind and temperature conditions change and correspondingly modify the preventive safety response. The proposed system provides a predictive, adaptive, and automated approach for improving window safety and reducing the likelihood of failure under changing environmental conditions.
