Abstract: A WIND–CUM–SOLAR OPERATED SPRAYER SYSTEM The present invention relates to a wind–cum–solar operated sprayer system for agricultural applications. The system comprises a solar photovoltaic panel, a wind turbine, a charge controller, a rechargeable battery, a DC motor-driven pump, a spray tank, a boom assembly, and multiple spray nozzles. The solar panel and wind turbine jointly generate electrical energy, which is regulated by the charge controller and stored in the battery. The stored energy powers the pump to pressurize and deliver chemical solution from the spray tank to the boom-mounted nozzles for uniform crop spraying. During forward movement of the sprayer, the wind turbine generates supplementary electrical energy that is rectified and fed back to the battery, thereby enhancing energy recovery and extending operational runtime. The system eliminates dependence on fossil fuels, reducs labor requirements, provides continuous spraying under varying environmental conditions, and ensures efficient chemical application with improved field performance and environmental sustainability.
