Abstract: The present invention relates to a wearable reptile detection and adaptive alert system(100). The system(100) includes a wearable device(102) and a user device(126). The wearable device(102) having a VOC sensor(104), an ultrasonic sensor(106), an electromagnetic sensor(108), an infrared sensor(110), a camera(112), a computing unit(114), a LED indicator(120), a haptic motor(122) and a wireless communication module(124). The computing unit(114) having a memory unit(116) and a processing unit(118). The LED indicator(120) communicatively coupled to the computing unit(114). The haptic motor (122) communicatively coupled to the computing unit (114). The user device (126) communicatively coupled to the computing unit (114) through the wireless communication module (124). The system (100) performs sensor fusion of multi-modal sensing data and artificial-intelligence based identification to determine a detection confidence and a corresponding risk category for a detected reptile or reptile-like object, and to generate an adaptive alert based on the detection confidence and the corresponding risk category.
