Abstract: ABSTRACT “A WEARABLE POSTMORTEM BIOCHEMICAL MONITORING PATCH” The present invention provides a wearable postmortem biochemical monitoring patch for continuous monitoring of decomposition-related biochemical changes in a deceased body. The patch comprises a flexible biopolymer substrate, an adhesive layer for attachment to the skin of a deceased body, microfluidic channels configured to collect bodily fluids and decomposition products, a biochemical sensor array, a wireless data transmission module, an AI-based predictive decomposition model, and a colorimetric indicator. This invention enables continuous, non- invasive, and real-time assessment of decomposition progression and postmortem interval estimation, thereby improving the objectivity, reliability, and forensic utility of postmortem investigations.
