Abstract: ABSTRACT A WEARABLE PERSONAL SAFETY BAND SYSTEM AND METHOD FOR ELECTRIC SHOCK DEFENSE AND EMERGENCY ALERT CONNECTIVITY The invention relates to wearable personal safety devices, and more particularly to a wearable personal safety band system and method for electric shock defense and emergency alert connectivity. The system includes a wearable self-defense band having a high-voltage generator module, a conductive metal rim having metal probes electrically coupled to the high-voltage generator module, insulated portions of the band, a trigger mechanism, a rechargeable battery, a Bluetooth module, sensors, and an emergency alert system linked to a smartphone. Upon actuation of the trigger mechanism, lower voltage from the rechargeable battery is converted into an elevated output and delivered at the conductive metal rim for self-defense, while the insulated portions maintain wearer isolation. The Bluetooth module cooperates with the smartphone to transmit emergency notifications including emergency status information and wearer location to one or more pre-defined contacts, with manual and/or automatic activation, and the sensors enable monitoring of operational readiness and battery status.
