Abstract: The present invention a wearable electrochemical diagnostic device designed for real-time monitoring of electrolyte levels and sweat rate. The device features a miniaturized multiplex electrode unit with at least three working electrodes and one reference electrode, each equipped with ion-selective membranes tailored for detecting sodium ions, potassium ions, and pH. The electrodes are fabricated with chromium and gold layers to ensure enhanced conductivity and stability. A potentiometric-based detection unit utilizes open-circuit potential (OCP) for accurate ion concentration measurement within specified ranges. The device includes a portable electronic circuit with a microcontroller, differential amplifier, ADC, and low-pass filter. It also integrates a self-calibration mechanism and displays real-time results, with optional Bluetooth or cloud connectivity for data transfer. Figure 7 is the representative figure.
