The processor (104) is configured to execute plurality of modules (108) for performing autonomous physiological distress detection and tiered emergency escalation operations. The plurality of modules (108) comprises a multi-sensor acquisition module (110), a baseline calibration module (112), a distress inference module (114), an analysis module (116), a trigger management module (118), a communication module (120), and a processing module (122). The proposed system (100) is configured to improve reliability, responsiveness, scalability, and covert emergency operation in real-world physiological distress monitoring applications.
