MUMBAI, India, Aug. 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641098246 A) filed by Hazeem Sait; and Rubina Hazeem on August 13, 2026, for A Wearable Apparatus For Monitoring And Stimulating Neural Activity And A Method Thereof.
Inventor includes Hazeem Sait.
The application for the patent was published on August 21, 2026, under issue no. 34/2026.
Abstract: A wearable apparatus (102) for monitoring and stimulating neural activity is disclosed. The apparatus includes a structural arc (305), first and second lateral housings (310a,310b), spring-loaded dry-contact EEG electrodes, an electrophysiological signal acquisition unit, a neural stimulation unit (320), and a hardware-enforced safety validation unit (325). A secure element (330) implements a four-tier progressive biometric authentication system including primary and backup biometric authentication factors, voiceprint authentication, and multi-factor authentication. A bone-conduction transducer (335) and viscoelastic isolation mount (340) provide audio output while reducing mechanical vibration transmitted to the electrodes. A processor (345) locally processes EEG and multimodal data, continuously monitors neural activity using phase-amplitude coupling, identifies a favourable cognitive state, and generates and independently validates a stimulation protocol before delivering transcranial alternating current stimulation. Encrypted neural memory, Cognitive Longevity Index determination, and privacy-preserving machine-learning updates are also provided by the wearable apparatus. FIG. 3(a) and FIG. 3(b)
