Abstract: ABSTRACT “WATER CURING JACKET FOR REINFORCED CEMENT CONCRETE (RCC) COLUMNS” A water curing jacket for reinforced cement concrete (RCC) columns and other vertical concrete elements is disclosed. A jacket body (100) is arranged to surround a vertical RCC column (10) after initial setting. Upon securing by a closure mechanism (160), the jacket body and the column surface together form a continuous 360-degree annular confined moisture-retaining space, the column surface forming the inner circumferential boundary. The jacket includes an outer impermeable layer (110) providing radial containment and restricting moisture loss, and an inner absorbent geotextile lining (120) maintained in substantially continuous contact with the column surface. A water inlet (130) introduces water into the space, which is retained and gradually released through the absorbent layer to maintain sustained and substantially uniform curing with reduced evaporation and runoff.
