The application for the patent was published on September 25, 2026, under issue no. 39/2026.

Abstract: ABSTRACT [0027] Traditional face recognition systems remain vulnerable to spoofing attacks that employ printed images, video replays, or three-dimensional masks, thereby compromising security in high-stakes environments. This project develops a smart face authentication system that leverages Vision Transformers pretrained with the DINO self-supervised framework to extract robust facial representations without extensive labeled data. Attention mechanisms within the transformer architecture enable the model to focus on fine-grained facial details that differentiate live faces from forgeries. The complete pipeline incorporates preprocessing for input standardization, feature extraction, and real-time inference, rendering the system suitable for practical deployment in banking, surveillance, and secure access control applications.
