Abstract: The present invention discloses a multi-layer compostable container designed to replace plastic nursery bags in agriculture, horticulture, and forestry. The container features a three-layer structure to balance durability and decomposition. An outer layer (L-1) provides mechanical strength for handling. A middle layer (L-2) contains nutrients that are slowly released into the soil after planting. A rapidly degrading inner layer (L-3) allows plant roots to grow freely, preventing transplant shock. The container is designed to be durable during handling and then decompose after planting.
