Abstract: ABSTRACT A VERMICOMPOSTING BASED PROCESS FOR PRODUCING NEEM ENRICHED VERMIWASH 5 The present invention relates to a vermicomposting based process for producing neem enriched vermiwash and its composition. Agricultural residues and semi-decomposed neem leaves are subjected to vermicomposting using earthworms to obtain nutrient1rich vermiwash. The vermiwash contains essential macro- and micronutrients along with neem-derived bioactive compounds, including azadirachtin. The collected 10 vermiwash is optionally enriched with neem oil extract and bio-stimulant additives to enhance plant growth promotion and pest repellent activity. The composition exhibits a balanced pH and improved nutrient profile, making it suitable for application in various agricultural crops. Application of the VermiNeem Tonic improves plant growth, yield, and yield-attributing characteristics compared to conventional 15 vermiwash or untreated controls, providing an eco-friendly and sustainable alternative to chemical fertilizers and plant protection agents.
