MUMBAI, India, July 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202521002839 A) filed by Kanad Innovations Private Limited on January 13, 2025, for A Vehicle Safety System.
Inventor includes Priyanka S Sangale.
The application for the patent was published on July 17, 2026, under issue no. 29/2026.
Abstract: A vehicle safety system (100) for preventing improper pedal operation patterns may comprise a control unit (102), a brake pedal sensor (104), an accelerator pedal sensor (106), a memory device (108), and feedback devices (110). The control unit (102) may receive pedal pressure data at predetermined intervals and compare temporal sequences with manual transmission patterns stored in the memory device (108). The control unit (102) may identify clutch-like movements, detect simultaneous pedal activation events, calculate improper operation frequency, and compute a risk assessment score. When the risk score exceeds thresholds, the system may execute a progressive safety protocol comprising activating driver warnings through feedback devices (110), implementing graduated power output limits, increasing pedal resistance via electromagnetic actuators (202, 204), and activating performance limitations. The system may dynamically adjust the safety protocol based on monitored changes in pedal operation patterns.
