Abstract: The present disclosure relates to a vehicle door (100) comprising an inner panel (1) having a first surface (1a) and a second surface (1b). The first surface (1a) includes a peripheral edge region (22a), an inclined section (26a) and a central portion (24). The second surface (1b) includes a peripheral edge region (22b), an inclined section (26b) and a bracket mounting region (12) to which a mounting bracket (10) securing an impact beam (20) is mounted. The bracket mounting region defines a plurality of projections (50) having a proximal end (50a), a distal end (50b) and a center (50c). The plurality of projections (50) defines a divergent shape at the proximal end (50a), and the distal end (50b) that converges towards the center (50c) of the plurality of projections. The configuration of the vehicle door strengthens the bracket mounting region of the inner panel thereby improving the door slamming performance. Figure 1 is a representative figure.
