MUMBAI, India, Aug. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611076402 A) filed by Noida Institute Of Engineering & Technology on June 19, 2026, for A Variable Airflow Cooling Duct For Motorcycle Engines.
Inventors include Ajeet Singh; and Dr. Rajeev Kumar.
The application for the patent was published on August 07, 2026, under issue no. 32/2026.
Abstract: The present invention provides a variable airflow cooling duct for motorcycle engines. The duct includes a duct body, an inlet mouth, an outlet port, and a movable vane assembly for regulating cooling air directed toward selected engine surfaces. An actuator, controller, and temperature sensor may coordinate vane movement according to thermal demand. A seal, mounting bracket, debris separator, and bypass channel support installation, durability, and contamination management. The arrangement improves engine cooling control while reducing unnecessary airflow during lower demand conditions.
