Abstract: The present invention relates to a valve timing system (102) comprising one or more roller levers (104) and one or more finger followers (108). One end of each of the one or more roller levers (104) is coupled to a rotary shaft (122) and configured to oscillate in response to rotation of the rotary shaft (122). The one or more finger followers (108) are configured to be in contact with one or more roller levers (104) and actuate the one or more valves (110) wherein each of the one or more roller levers (104) comprises at least a first section (104a), a second section (104b) and a third section (104c).
