The vacuum interrupter 200 includes a housing 100 with a first segment 102. The first segment 102 is defined by a first end 102a and a second end 102b with a first hole 102h. A second segment 104 is defined by a third end 104a and a fourth end 104b with a second hole 104h. A third segment 106 is positioned between the first segment 102 and the second segment 104. The third segment 106 is defined by a step 108 at a top end 106a and a bottom end 106b of the third segment 106. The second end 102b of first segment 102 is coupled to a tread 108t of the step 108 at the top end 106a, and the fourth end 104b of the second segment 104 is coupled to the tread 108t of the step 108 at the bottom end 106b.
