MUMBAI, India, June 30 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202641074835 A) filed by Gowhari Power Enterprises LLP on June 17, 2026, for A Vacuum-Assisted Multi-Tank Water Transfer, Pneumatic Energy Storage And Power Generation System And Method Thereof.

Inventors include Arjunan Munusamy; and A. Gowtham.

The application for the patent was published on June 26, 2026, under issue no. 26/2026.

Abstract: The present invention relates to a vacuum-assisted multi-tank water transfer, pneumatic energy storage and power generation system. The system comprises a plurality of interconnected storage tanks (100, 150, 200), a vacuum generation unit (400), a water inlet assembly (250), one or more control valves (300, 350), a compressed-air storage vessel (450), and optionally a turbine-generator assembly comprising a turbine (500) and a generator (550). A reduced-pressure condition is created within one or more storage tanks by the vacuum generation unit (400), thereby enabling water to enter the storage tanks through pressure differential. During filling, predetermined volumes of air are trapped above the water level and subsequently compressed through water displacement. The compressed air is transferred to and stored within the compressed-air storage vessel (450) for subsequent utilization. Stored compressed air and/or pressurized water may be supplied to pneumatic equipment, irrigation systems, industrial applications, or a turbine-generator assembly for generation of electrical power. The invention provides an integrated arrangement for water transfer, compressed-air generation, pneumatic energy storage and distributed power generation. The system is modular, scalable and suitable for agricultural, industrial, renewable energy and off-grid applications.
