Abstract: A UV–Visible Spectrophotometric Q-Ratio Analytical Process for Simultaneous Estimation of Raloxifene Hydrochloride and Trans-Resveratrol Abstract The present invention relates to a UV–Visible spectrophotometric absorbance-ratio (Q-ratio) analytical process for the simultaneous estimation of Raloxifene Hydrochloride and Trans-Resveratrol in a binary mixture. The process comprises selecting a suitable organic solvent, preferably methanol, preparing standard and working solutions, identifying an isoabsorptive wavelength at 284 nm and an analytical wavelength at 305 nm, determining absorptivity coefficients, measuring absorbance at the selected wavelengths, and calculating the individual concentrations of both analytes using Q-ratio mathematical equations without prior chromatographic separation. The analytical process is validated in accordance with ICH Q2(R1) guidelines with respect to linearity, accuracy, precision, repeatability, robustness, limit of detection, and limit of quantification. The invention provides a simple, rapid, accurate, precise, reproducible, and cost-effective analytical process suitable for bulk drug analysis, pharmaceutical formulations, and routine quality-control applications.
