MUMBAI, India, Aug. 31 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202631101736 A) filed by Peetam Mandal on August 23, 2026, for A Unified Lc–ms/Ms Analytical Process For Multiclass Pesticide Residues In Complex Liquid Biostimulant Matrices.
Inventor includes Peetam Mandal.
The application for the patent was published on August 28, 2026, under issue no. 35/2026.
Abstract: The invention provides a matrix-adapted process (100) for determining thirty-eight pesticide residues in liquid biostimulant matrices. A homogenised sample (101) is conditioned with purified water (102), extracted with acetonitrile and ultrasonicated (103), partitioned using magnesium sulphate and sodium chloride under cooling (104), and centrifuged (105) to obtain an acetonitrile-rich supernatant (106). The supernatant is cleaned with magnesium sulphate, primary-secondary amine, Florisil and C18, without graphitized carbon black (107), to form a common cleaned extract (108). Separate aliquots are allocated among coordinated methods (109) employing reversed-phase C8 liquid chromatography, positive- or negative-mode electrospray ionisation and multiple-reaction monitoring (110), thereby enabling identification or quantitative determination of thirty-eight pesticide residues (111) without repeating extraction or cleanup.
