Abstract: ABSTRACT Title: A TWO-WAY, SELECTIVE AIR-INLET SNORKEL SYSTEM FOR VEHICLES. A two-way, selective, air-intake snorkel system (100) for vehicles, comprising a channel (10) configured in front-end carrier (14) under vehicle hood (12); air-filter (16) connected to channel (10) at rear-side thereof via default snorkel (30); main inlet (32) connected in front of the channel for entry of airflow (A1) from front of vehicle; top-snorkel (40) connected at top of channel (10) for entry of airflow (A2) from top; two-way sliding duct (15) moveable between lower position and upper position; and a mechanism (18, 37) to connect default snorkel (30) either with main inlet (32) or optional inlet (42) of top snorkel (40); wherein said mechanism (18, 37) is configured to selectively move said sliding duct (15) between lower position and upper position within channel (10) for switching between airflow (A1) and top airflow (A2) to continuously supply air to engine.
