Abstract: ABSTRACT “A TUYERE UNIT OF A BLAST FURNACE AND A BLAST FURNACE THEREOF” The present disclosure discloses a tuyere unit of a blast furnace. 5 The tuyere unit (100) includes a tuyere (1) connectable to at least one fluid source on one end and disposable at a bosh section (204) of the blast furnace (200) on another end to channelize pressurized combustible gas. The tuyere unit includes a lance (2) connected to the tuyere (1) to channelize flammable reducing agent at predefined 10 flowrate into the tuyere (1). Thickness of at least a portion of the lance (2) proximal to the second end of the tuyere (1) is in a range of 3 mm to 5 mm. With such configuration, the tuyere unit (100) aids to regulate temperature at tip of the lance (2) and may avoid or prevent damage and replacement of tuyere unit (100) due to damage by high temperatures at the tip. 15 Figure 1a is a representative figure.
