Abstract: Trip-actuation unit [120] of actuator assembly [112] of MCCB [100]. Trip-actuation unit [120] comprises actuator-link [204] pivotally mounted on mid-cover assembly [106] of MCCB [100], adjustable between first and second pivot position, and adapted to engage with trip-accessory [156]. Trip-actuation unit [120] further comprises slider-member [202] resiliently and slidably mounted on mid-cover assembly [106], adapted to slide between first and second slid position. Slider-member [202] defining link-engagement cavity [202a] that receives portion of actuator-link [204], and trip-bar engagement portion [202b]. In deactivated-position of trip-accessory [156], actuator-link [204] is normally maintained in first pivot position, maintaining slider-member [202] in first slid position, maintaining gap between trip-bar engagement portion [202b], and in actuated position of trip-accessory [156], actuator-link [204] pivotally adjusted to second pivot position, to adjust slider-member [202] to second slid position, causing engagement of trip-bar engagement portion [202b] with trip-bar [118], causing MCCB [100] adjust from ON to TRIP position.
