Abstract: The disclosure herein generally relates to a tray table assembly of a vehicle, and more particularly, to a tray table assembly mounted on the rear side of a vehicle seat(S). The tray table assembly(1000) includes a first tray table portion (100) and a second tray table portion(200) hingedly connected to said first tray table portion(100). Further, the tray table assembly(1000) includes an attachment arm(10) connected to a rear side of said first tray table portion(100) and a slidable support element(20) connected to a rear side of said second tray table portion(200).The slidable support element(20) is adapted to slide in a longitudinal direction(L). The slidable support element(20) includes a pair of lateral sliding members(5) adapted to slide in a transverse direction(T). The tray table assembly securely supports the tray table on the seat back to maintain its horizontal position when the backrest is inclined at different angles.
