Abstract: ABSTRACT A TRANSMISSION ASSEMBLY FOR A VEHICLE AND A METHOD THEREOF The present subject matter relates generally to a transmission assembly (200), a vehicle (100), and a method (600). The transmission assembly (200) comprises an input shaft assembly (205), a driven shaft assembly (400), a gear shift assembly (201), a gear lock member (206), and a lock assembly (207). The gear shift assembly (201) engages the input shaft assembly (205) with a driven shaft assembly (400) in a plurality of torque transfer configurations. The gear lock member (206) is coupled to the input shaft assembly (205). The gear lock member (206) comprises a plurality of locking slots (206S). The lock assembly (207) is coupled with the gear shift assembly (201) to engage with the gear lock member (206) through one of the plurality of locking slots (206S).
