Abstract: A floor mounted tower fan assembly (100) is provided. The tower fan assembly (100) includes a blower fan (7) disposed vertically within a casing (9). A rotation of the blower fan (7) providing an omni-directional air flow around the tower fan assembly (100). The tower fan assembly also includes a rotatable air flow guide (8) having an inlet passage (16) to allow entry of air and an outlet passage (11) to discharge air. The inlet passage (16) and the outlet passage (11) are in fluid communication with the blower fan (7). The rotatable air flow guide (8) is vertically disposed within the casing (9) surrounding the blower fan (7) in such a manner that rotation of the air flow guide (8) enhances air flow rate (A) in all directions.
