Abstract: ABSTRACT A THREE-POINT PEDIATRIC DENTAL CROWN STABILIZATION AND PLACEMENT INSTRUMENT The present invention relates to a three- point pediatric dental crown stabilization and placement instrument (100) comprising a first handle (102), a second handle (104) interconnected by a pivot joint (106), first and second shanks (108, 110) supporting a buccal crown-engaging member (112) and a lingual crown-engaging member (114) having resilient crown-contact interfaces (120, 122), and an occlusal crown-engaging member (118) comprising a detachable temporary-retention tip (124). The buccal crown-engaging member (112), the lingual crown-engaging member (114), and the occlusal crown-engaging member (118) cooperatively define a crown-receiving region (126) for establishing a coordinated three-point stabilization condition around a pediatric dental crown (202). The instrument stabilizes, transfers, aligns, and seats the pediatric dental crown (202) onto a prepared tooth (204) along an insertion direction (208) while reducing lateral translation, rotational displacement, tilting, and accidental release. Sequential disengagement of the detachable temporary-retention tip (124) and the resilient crown-contact interfaces (120, 122) enables controlled instrument withdrawal, thereby improving placement accuracy, procedural safety, and clinical efficiency during pediatric restorative procedures.
