Abstract: A three-dimensional interlocking structural block, modular construction system, and method of assembly are disclosed. The block comprises a main body having a primary load-bearing portion, four downward engagement legs at bottom corner regions, corresponding corner receiving indentations on a top face, a central hollow or central indentation, and lateral grooves in side walls. The block geometry enables multi-directional interlocking in vertical and lateral directions, self-alignment from a correctly set base layer, and repeating modular assembly in different structural patterns. The system permits dry mortar-free construction for low-height structures and reinforced construction for higher structures. Selected block arrangements permit alignment of internal hollows for concrete filling, reinforcement, drainage, water passage, electrical passage, utility passage, insulation, or service functions. Modified units including half blocks, quarter blocks, corner units, and extension units are also compatible with the system. The block is manufacturable in different materials and sizes while preserving functional compatibility through corresponding geometric proportions.
