MUMBAI, India, Aug. 12 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611076401 A) filed by Noida Institute Of Engineering & Technology on June 19, 2026, for A Thermal Regulation System For Rooftop Solar Modules.

Inventors include Ajay Kumar; and Anurag Pal.

The application for the patent was published on August 07, 2026, under issue no. 32/2026.

Abstract: A thermal regulation system for rooftop solar modules is disclosed. The system includes thermal interface plates coupled to rear regions of photovoltaic modules, a segmented coolant manifold, a phase change thermal buffer, a variable speed pump, a heat rejection unit, distributed sensors, leak detection elements, and a controller. The controller selectively circulates coolant through module zones based on measured temperature, coolant condition, irradiance, and performance data. The arrangement reduces localized overheating while limiting auxiliary power use and supporting rooftop installation compatibility.
