Abstract: A THERMAL MANAGEMENT SYSTEM FOR A RESERVED ENERGY STORAGE SYSTEM ABSTRACT A thermal management system (100) comprising a frame (102) configured to receive a plurality of battery cells (114), a plurality of encasings (104) to encase the plurality of battery cells (114), a fluid circuit (106) to circulate a cooling liquid in the plurality of encasings (104), at least one processor (112) to determine one or more primary parameters using a sensing module (108), determine one or more secondary parameters from one or more external sources (126), analyse the one or more primary parameters and the one or more secondary parameters relative to a historical data, using a thermal prediction model (124), predict a thermal saturation state of the plurality of battery cells (114), and generate an actuation signal in response to the predicted thermal saturation state to pre-emptively activate the fluid circuit (106) and manage temperature of the plurality of battery cells (114).
