Abstract: The present invention relates to a thermal energy harvesting system based on the Seebeck effect for converting waste heat into electrical energy using thermoelectric generator (TEG) Peltier modules. The system comprises multiple Peltier modules electrically interconnected to enhance voltage output, with one surface exposed to a heat source and the opposite surface coupled to an efficient cooling assembly to maintain a significant temperature gradient. The temperature difference across the modules generates electrical power through the Seebeck effect, which is regulated by a high-efficiency DC–DC power converter to provide a stable and usable electrical output. An aluminum water cooling block is employed to improve heat dissipation and sustain thermoelectric performance. Experimental evaluation demonstrates a direct correlation between thermal gradient and electrical output, validating effective energy conversion. The modular and scalable configuration enables adaptation for various waste-heat-rich environments, including industrial processes. The invention offers a solid-state, environmentally friendly solution for low-power energy generation and improved overall energy efficiency.
