Abstract: The present invention provides a targeted nanoparticle based anticancer drug delivery system comprising a drug containing core, biodegradable polymeric matrix, stimulus responsive linkage region, steric stabilization layer, and tumor targeting ligands. The nanoparticles retain an anticancer agent during extracellular transport and promote receptor mediated association with malignant cells. Intracellular acidic, enzymatic, or reductive conditions activate controlled drug release. The system supports improved tumor localization, reduced premature leakage, adaptable ligand selection, and reproducible quality evaluation for pharmaceutical anticancer administration.
