MUMBAI, India, July 24 -- Intellectual Property India has published a patent application (202611059290 A) filed by Noida Institute Of Engineering And Technology Pharmacy Institute on May 09, 2026, for A Targeted Nanoparticle Based Anticancer Drug Delivery System.

Inventors include Dr. Avijit Mazumder; and Ranjeet Kumar Yadav.

The application for the patent was published on July 17, 2026, under issue no. 29/2026.

Abstract: The present invention provides a targeted nanoparticle based anticancer drug delivery system comprising a drug containing core, biodegradable polymeric matrix, stimulus responsive linkage region, steric stabilization layer, and tumor targeting ligands. The nanoparticles retain an anticancer agent during extracellular transport and promote receptor mediated association with malignant cells. Intracellular acidic, enzymatic, or reductive conditions activate controlled drug release. The system supports improved tumor localization, reduced premature leakage, adaptable ligand selection, and reproducible quality evaluation for pharmaceutical anticancer administration.
